Rules for using the board.

Information directory only

Halted Stock Board is an information directory. It is not a broker-dealer, exchange, alternative trading system, escrow service, custodian, attorney, or transfer agent, and it does not provide investment, legal, tax, or brokerage advice.

User responsibility

You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of information you submit and for independently evaluating every person, Listing, communication, and proposed transfer. You must confirm with the relevant broker, transfer agent, and professional advisers whether a transfer is permitted and practicable.

You are responsible for complying with laws, regulations, account agreements, broker requirements, transfer restrictions, tax obligations, and other rules that may apply to you.

No verification or guarantee

The board does not verify a user’s identity, position ownership, share count, authority, intent, transferability, or ability to complete a transfer. Listings and messages may be inaccurate, outdated, misleading, or fraudulent.

A Listing, display name, username, email verification, or accepted Contact Request is not an endorsement, identity check, ownership confirmation, or guarantee by Halted Stock Board.

No transaction service

The board does not negotiate terms, determine a price, execute, clear, settle, verify, or custody any transaction and does not hold or transmit funds or securities. Users communicate and arrange any proposed transfer independently and at their own risk.

Eligibility and account security

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to use the service. You must provide accurate account information, protect your credentials and verification codes, and promptly notify the board if you believe your account has been compromised.

You are responsible for activity conducted through your account. Do not share an account or allow another person to use your credentials.

Acceptable use

Do not use the board to:

• commit fraud, manipulation, deception, impersonation, harassment, threats, spam, or other unlawful activity;
• submit a Listing you do not reasonably believe is accurate or that you are not authorized to submit;
• request passwords, verification codes, account numbers, full account statements, remote-device access, or other sensitive information;
• circumvent blocks, account restrictions, rate limits, RLS policies, or other security controls;
• scrape, disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or misuse the service; or
• publish another person’s private or confidential information without authorization.

Board controls

The board may review reports, hide or remove Listings, restrict accounts or interactions, preserve relevant records, and take other reasonable action to protect users, comply with law, investigate abuse, and maintain service integrity.

Reports do not automatically prove wrongdoing, and moderation decisions may be reviewed or reversed when appropriate.

Service availability

The board may add, modify, suspend, limit, or discontinue features and may restrict access or content when reasonably necessary for security, compliance, maintenance, or service integrity. The service may occasionally be unavailable, delayed, or contain errors.

Privacy and safety

Use of the service is also subject to the Privacy Policy. Review the Safety guidance before responding to a Listing or considering any proposed transfer.

Changes and contact

We may revise these Terms as the service changes. The current version will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date. If a change is material, we may also provide notice through the service or by email when appropriate.
